About Compassion First Care Services Inc
Owner ~ Deanne Harding
Deanne is a dedicated advocate committed to empowering individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, as well as those who are high functioning. With over ten years of experience in the field, Deanne returned to school in 2021 to further enhance her knowledge and skills, ultimately leading to the founding of Compassion First in 2023. Her mission is to create inclusive programs that foster lifelong connections, personal growth, and skill development.
Driven by a passion for helping others, Deanne is devoted to teaching practical life skills and promoting active community engagement. Compassion First offers tailored support programming designed to meet the unique needs of participants, ensuring that everyone has the opportunity to thrive.
In addition to her extensive experience, Deanne holds a Social Services and Addictions Worker certificate earned with honors. She envisions a supportive environment where everyone feels valued and empowered, cultivating a sense of belonging through community involvement and connection.
Through Compassion First, Deanne aims to build a vibrant community where individuals of all abilities can receive the support they need to lead fulfilling lives while surrounded by a network of care and understanding.

DIRECTOR~Dan Harding
When his wife decided to create Compassion First, Dan didn't just come along for the ride- he dedicated himself to helping the community she chose to serve. Having personal experience with the challenges our clients and parents face, he has become one of the most passionate supporters of our community. Dan continues to further his education to come up with creative new ideas to implement in our programs, and is dedicated to improving the lives of our members.
Lookout for his newest ventures, coming soon as a result of these courses! We'll just say if you love nature, you'll love what he has planned.
Dan has extensive experience in management, as well as having skills in policy and procedure. He is also our jack-of-all trades at the center- if the clients ask for it, or we break it, Dan is always there to help us out.
Dan is driven by kindness and compassion, two of our core values, and he uses both to enhance our center and improve the services we can offer our clientele.

Meghan does the administrative work for the company, but is based in Summerside. She also works youth support for our younger members, aged 6-11. With plenty of computer experience, she keeps things running smoothly behind the scenes.

Chantell works with our Adult Support program. She loves to use her creativity and experience with mental health and neurodiversity to offer the best support possible for our clients.

Adam Rafferty (Support worker)
Adam is a recent Human Services graduate who loves working with clients! He plans to engage clients and get as many activities as possible on the go. His can-do attitude and enthusiasm make sure it's always interesting when he's around.

Sara Baxter (Home Support)
Sara brings us plenty of home care and cleaning experience. She has a passion for working one on one to support clients, and brings her empathy to her clients. She offers a level of support we want for all our clients.
